Since April 2013, only those freight shipments bearing the “secure” status are allowed to enter the dispatching process for the first time.
"Secure” means: regarding the air freight that is to be shipped, the legislator expects a secure delivery chain from the shipper to the airport. In other words: from you (manufacturer), to the packaging company and the freight forwarder, right up to the airline. In this regard, clearly defined safety rules must be complied with so that air freight can be considered secure from the outset and so that no additional controls have to be performed.
KIPA Industrie-Verpackungs GmbH is a "regulated agent" and is regularly certified by the German FAA (LBA). We carry out the necessary security checks in accordance with the statutory requirements and in coordination with the airline company.
